I brought my 2020 GMC Sierra 3.0L AT4 Carbon in for service because it was showing an oxygen sensor error. Since it was coming in and the brakes were at ~15% front and ~25% rear, I also asked to have the brakes serviced. The oxygen sensor turned into a stripped catalytic converter resulting in a new catalytic converter and 3 new sensors. For a 2020 that was disappointing. Then, within 2 days of leaving, the truck had cylinder 3 misfire errors, and the new flash resulted in my old scanner not working. The web indicated a cyl 3 error can take place with catalytic converter work. So, I bought a new scanner, reset the error, and it hasn't re-appeared. In the meantime, (less than 1 week) a cylinder 2 glow plug error appeared. With 147,000 miles on the truck, it is back in your service department to have the glow plug replaced under the service notice. I really like this truck and plan on getting 300,000 miles from it, but the back-to-back service needs to not be a trend. My last truck (2004 GMC Canyon 5 cylinder) has 225,000 miles on it before it found a new home and it is still running. This 3.0L needs to have similar reliability.
